Be Strengthened by Grace

Bible
Leviticus 16:23-28
Hebrews 13:6-16

Leviticus
16:23 “Then Aaron is to go into the Tent of Meeting and take off the linen garments he put on before he entered the Most Holy Place, and he is to leave them there.
16:24 He shall bathe himself with water in a holy place and put on his regular garments. Then he shall come out and sacrifice the burnt offering for himself and the burnt offering for the people, to make atonement for himself and for the people.
16:25 He shall also burn the fat of the sin offering on the altar.
16:26 “The man who releases the goat as a scapegoat must wash his clothes and bathe himself with water; afterward he may come into the camp.
16:27 The bull and the goat for the sin offerings, whose blood was brought into the Most Holy Place to make atonement, must be taken outside the camp; their hides, flesh and offal are to be burned up.
16:28 The man who burns them must wash his clothes and bathe himself with water; afterward he may come into the camp.

Hebrews
13:6 So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”
13:7 Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.
13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
13:9 Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings. It is good for our hearts to be strengthened by grace, not by ceremonial foods, which are of no value to those who eat them.
13:10 We have an altar from which those who minister at the tabernacle have no right to eat.
13:11 The high priest carries the blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering, but the bodies are burned outside the camp.
13:12 And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood.
13:13 Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore.
13:14 For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.
13:15 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise–the fruit of lips that confess his name.
13:16 And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
